• Bluesbunny Review and Celtic Music Radio Radiothon

Not had a lot of time to blog but thought i'd share a nice review of The Lantern Has Fallen by Bluesbunny, which you can read here:

Also, Bill Morris at Celtic Radio kindly invited me along to his show Morris' Mash on Monday, to be part of the station's Radiothon, which has been running all week and continues throughout the weekend. It's the first Radiothon to be held in the UK and is basically to help keep the station running as it survives entirely on donations and the support of listeners. It was great to be part of the show and chat with fellow guest Jim King and John Malcolm, as well as play Footprints and Going Away For A While live on air.

Celtic Music Radio evolved as part of the now world famous Celtic Connections festival. As well as broadcasting live from the event every year, it is also a tremendous celebration of Scottish music, from the traditional to the brand new, 365 days a year. It covers all genres of music from all over the world too and on top of that is a great support to indie/unsigned artists and songwriters who may not yet get much attention from mainstream radio. So, a very worthwhile cause on so many levels. You can help out by making a donation, or, even better, setting up a regular subscription of a couple of quid a month. There's also all sorts of things you can bid for on e-bay just now to help. Find out more at www.celticconnections.net
